oh man i hate streamyx......i wish there was another company that provides non wireless ADSL that knows the meaning of quality and not push everyone into their servers causing it to be slow. Streamyx servers are slow.

Hi all, its my first time posting here. This is a great forum, especially for World of Warcraft fans in Malaysia.

I have been getting insane lag recently, around 3000 - 4000 in latency. After the landslide in hong kong, ping was really bad, but it got better. But now, it's gone back to being laggy again.

Is this normal for streamyx users? I'm about to give up playing WoW already. vmad.gif

Just wondering... How is everyone's ping these days?

I'm getting around 600ish to maybe 700ish..

Would that be a norm for Malaysians?

Currently using a 512kbps line.. would a 1meg connection help to increase the speed? ;|

600-700 is very bad already as a healer... I cant keep people alive in tough situations when I could at 400-500. My line was always in the 400-500 range but ever since the landslide it shot up to 700+, even now after it was fixed, its still the same. But it depends where I am tho, for some isntances I go back down to 400-500, other places it shoots up to 700. Very depressing sad.gif

Hey all, i've been playing WoW for 5 months till May, after that, i realized it's taken up too much time. But now with the battlegrounds and new features.. I just wanna go back! :'( So I think im gonna buy a prepaid but is it still VERY laggy? as in always? till raiding is not an option?

Not sure abt lag.. hv been getting constant 300-700ms to Malygos since day one I play WoW (that was like 5 months ago) ..

I hv use the JWBB earlier since no Streamyx port in my area until recently.. now hv Stramyx.. and getting the same latency as I normally get from JWBB..

With 300-700ms.. I can still do 15man raid.. never tried MC though..
