correct me if i'm wrong,but in order to take the exam (in this case i'm referring to CFA level 1);you don't need to have an undergrad degree or working experience prior to that. you just need to register with CFA institute. as easy as abc. but it is a different scenario to hold a CFA charter. to hold a CFA charter requires you to pass all the 3 level, have a degree and 4 years related working experience.
