To win the war, know thy examiner. His train of thoughts is all peppered in his questions over the years. The key my dear padawan, is to create a database of past years questions (minimally going back most recent 5yrs.. best is 10yrs to have statistical validity) to identify topics which has higher weight. MS Excel will do fine. Collaborative efforts may shorten time.. but by doing this yourself, you will have a better feel of the questions as there may be some questions which the division of points between subjects is arguable.

Colums lay all the topisc in the syllabus. Rows lay the time series. Data is the marks allocated. Then is up to you to sort high/low or create a pivot table. I find this exercise quite helpful even when I want to just target a topic, I can goto each questions in multiple years.. and see how has the questions been permutated or linked to other areas.. after all.. long questions is "ROJAK" you gotta pull bits and pieces from diverse subjects.

Input alone (read and store in grey matter) is not sufficient to aid speed of recall. I prefer Output-input method. At least I can take a first stab with "what I know" and go assess what is the recommended solution. Therefore I may assess my gap. Note that it is important to be totally and brutally honest to yourself, if you missed/error, just admit that you need to improve.

Is hackable.. but takes effort and time and honesty smile.gif Can you "brain" IT?
