Is it true? I was at MIM asking about the course, for Level 1, the counsellor told me that a degree is needed, but not necessarily the work experience in finance (unless you're talking about working experience in general).

That was what I was told by the counsellor in MIM, you don't need to have the necessary 4 years related working experience to take Level 1.
