QUOTE(YH90 @ Jul 25 2011, 10:05 PM) You need to be at least a final year student of a degree program to take Level 1. I recommend you to take ACCA and get yourself the OBU degree to qualify yourself for the CFA Level 1 and 2. im sorry, but what's OBU?

Hi, the entry requirement for cfa must be at least final year of a degree... what if I'm an ACCA student? Does it means I can take cfa during part 2 of my acca?

QUOTE(YH90 @ Oct 12 2011, 06:55 PM) Have you been reading my post earlier? ACCA is just a professional qualification, not a degree. This may be due to the fact that ACCA does not follow the conventional education route, ie. degree > professional qualification (especially those from CAT > ACCA route), and therefore would assume that anyone taking CFA would already have a degree in hand. Maybe if you would explain your circumstances with the CFA officials, they would understand the situation better and thus recognise ACCA as a post-degree qualification or something. That being said, from what I have noticed in the registration section of CFA Institute website, you don't need any documentation whatsoever to register yourself for Level 1. Not so sure about Level 2, but I doubt it will be much difference. Maybe they are only strict when it comes to applying membership, by that time, you would already have more than 4 years experience. that means i can apply for level 1 even though i dont have any qualifications? not even a degree?
