Potential CFA level 1 candidate here.
Engineer without any relevant finance experience or knowledge taking CFA examinations.

As the exams are in early December, thus I'm down to 5.5 months of material studying and 1 month of revision before the final date.

What i want to know is that is there an effective and cheap way to actually nail this exam? Coz currently i'm kinda lost in my syllabus and reluctant to go for classes as they costs a bomb, which is something i cannot afford.

Please someone help me out. Anyone with similar experiences?

If you have no previous knowledge on finance, I would recommend that you read through the textbooks at least once.

Textbook is kinda hard to understand to be honest. That was da reason why I'm actually searching for other alternatives. And 1 textbook is like more than 300 pages. 6 books total up to more than 1800 pages. Dats alot of reading. Lo
