Since it doesnt have netflix for now, maybe you better get a mibox. We dont know how long it will take before netflix is allowed in plus box.

after reading a few pages back, nobody has mentioned that this box is netflix certified. Google certified, ok, but netflix certified, not yet.

secondly, unifi already removed all ads that says about the rm10 add on for plus box. I think, the promo has ended. Current package will be RM189/RM199 (100mpbs/300mpbs) and there's no mention that the price will be reduced after 2 years. So, I believe, that price is forever until they come out with newer packages.

they still have this addon for Rm10? After mco till now i asked twice they say no more addon for tvbox until further announcement.

I think this update might have screwed up my box sad.gif
Now I cant receive HyppTV ip address.. Network connected but got no IP from HyppTV side..
Call support they ask if my HDMI connected or not bangwall.gif bangwall.gif bangwall.gif bangwall.gif

I dont want to renew my contract changing box or upgrading..anybody know how to salvage this box? or should i just get a proper android box? icon_question.gif

Unifi plus box is definitely not netflix certified as it doesn't have netflix ESN, which is a must for androidtv OS device to run Netflix ATV version.. you can download the app from playstore, but it will prompt error when launched.. you can install mobile Netflix version (Red N on black box) instead.. if you would like to play in HD, they said to download old version 4.xx.x.. good luck

Its happened to me.

But when i look at my router log (MikroTik hAP-aC2), the ethernet5 (hypptv-box) connected at 10mbps, not 100mbps like usual (normal). 4x retry at 100mbps and connected at 10mbps only.

Need to turn off/on 2-3x, connected to 100mbps then i'll get hypptv ip/etc and NTP updated.. i think its maybe the new firmware problem or the lan port (hypptv-box) nearly kaput?

This thing happened after i relocated my acc on October 2020. Just check it today because gatal2 want to use hypptv-box (white) suddenly hahaha.. Previously using mibox s with UniFi TV apps..

Sorry i didnt give an update.. Apparently they switched off my access to hypptv..so i only receive vlan 500 (internet) and didnt receive vlan 600 (iptv).. They sent their technicians replaced all unifi router, hypptv box, and the fiber termination point and in the end they got confirmation from their service centre that it is a turned off access issue..

So in the end i got new equipments lol..

Anyways the latest hypptv boz is only for hypptv..they removed access to the apps pages 😞 so no more sideloading apps

if ur id migrate to new, when you sign in pop up appears on ur screen or device. no lag issue.

Already updated Mac address w unifi. Still the same. However the playtv works very well on my phone. End up cast the phone to Android TV

You mean ur white box always DC, n always need to refresh port by asking unifi?

Not DC... kinda continuous hang after 2 weeks doh.gif and yes by asking them refresh port and I restart devices will be better... according to the Technician suspected due to new UniFiTV interface sort of heavy for White Box... maybe not happen if using new Black box sweat.gif

This is like pushing subscriber to 'add-on' for the new black box.. this in BS...
If they provide 2 model box, they supposed to support it..
