"Open Subtitles" is what you need.. Register for a free account too.. Enter the login details in its settings.
Subtitles are usually downloaded within the same folder as the media being played.. This can be activated from within Kodi's main settings.. not the addon's settings... This is ideal, as for local playback, the srt file is stored in the same folder... For media being streamed, the srt file is stored in the temporary location..to be deleted after playback..

Not everyone uses only Exodus or addons like Quasar with auto subtitle download support.. Sometimes, sync issues are encountered and it's easier & quicker to seek out an available and perfectly matched subtitle, than try to manual sync the video and sub..
