Hi OCMAX, thanks for the input.
I'm well aware of the different set of connector config, unfortunately I've tried TRRRS, TRRS, TRS and none worked.
I also did tried with both wiring standard, OMTP and CTIA, but to no avail. Still buzzing.
I also compared the length of the connector just incase if this STB is using the 15mm connector type, but it all has the same length with the original connector.

Last hint is using TS connector.
I'm yet to try with TS connector as speaker with this type of connector is quite rare nowadays.
Anyone have speaker with TS connector can lend me their speaker for awhile? tongue.gif

When you pull the jack out a little it has sound. that means the connection for Left & right shifted. another way is to solder your own female jack out from the box. laugh.gif

Agreed on that. The best is to navigate using an external mouse, much easier that using the supplied remote control but the cons is you have to sit real near the TV. laugh.gif  Does a wireless mouse work as well? Anyone tried?
*
not necessary. you are facing that problem because the USB port is located on the back and left side which the signal strength greatly reduce. Get a male to female USB cable extender. I'm using a 4 ports USB hub and let the USB ports placing front.

My sofa is about 16ft away. Seating on my sofa I have no problem using the mini keyboard. smile.gif

Means you are using a wired mouse and wired keyboard to your male to female cable extender? But wouldnt that be a lot of cables running around then?
*
Yes! wireless. less cable. in fact only one cable extended to one of the STB USB port. I have another external hard drive plug into the other USB port at the STB.

My STB are inside a cabinet. So only can see the extended 4 ports USB hub that is facing front but than is behind the cabinet glass door.

hi anyone can help me?i cannot find the kodi app in google play store in my hypptv

Kodi at playstore in not compatible with HyppTV STB OS. Looks for FTMC or SPMC. but I would recommend FTMC because their latest version has the latest security loophole patched.

if i want  to use youtube on theHyppTV STB what should i do?
*
Read back a few pages. I posted the youtube TV version that works with hyppTV STB or you can used Kodi youtube addon.

One thing you have to take note. If you disable google play. the youtube account synchronization will not work with the youtube apk. It works as standalone only.

If you can't find the link. you can download HERE!

if i download this , do i need to use usb and use file es manager?
*
Is better to used ES explorer pro which is ad-free. you can sideload there or else if you used the default download manager. you might not able to delete the downloaded files later if you wanted to free up space.

Do take not after all these addons installed. your HyppTV STB doesn't left much space for your apps to run smooth.

i downloaded the kodi apk and try to install it using ES file explorer but when i install it "there was a problem parsing the package"  what should i do??
*
I already told you. the KODI you used is NOT compatible with HyppTV STB. You can only used kodi 16.1 BUT it can causes security hack into your system.

The only thing you can install like Kodi is FTMC or SPMC.

FTMC is much better because they have the security loophole patched.

you can only install these - FTMC Arm Rockchip 16.2.29 -> Arm Rockchip 16.2.29

Try to search at apkmirror and use google. Also you might find them here. Used the search function. That's a lot of question has been answer before.

Hello,
I do not know if this is the right place to ask
What is the best remote mouse and keyboard i can get for Hypptv box?
*
I'n using this. No problem but you need to get a USB male to female extender. a USB hub will do. because it comes with the cable. Put the USB facing front and you will get further distant to control the STB.

It's disappointed to see that this STB only 10/100Mbps.
*
How fast is your transmission? you most understand giga-speed network doesn't work alone, That's many things to consider.

100 downlink, 50 uplink.
But that's beside the point. I need giga speed for LAN streaming of 4K content.

Post a screen shots of your transferring rate. You can even do a test by transferring your files within hard drive/partition. that should be faster than any of the network speed you can have.
