Recently, my PC always shuts off by itself in normal mode. My PC is kinda infected right now so I am getting help from

https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/...-bitcoin-miner/

But I am currently facing pc suddenly shutting down by itself. And wont turn on unless I turn the plug off and on and then after thar the pc turns on

Here's a video I recorded

I dont think its a fault with the software, as I need to turn off and on the power adapter (hardware).. Any ideas?

If system turn off by itself or difficulty to turn in on, it is something to do with PSU (it is nothing to do with software or malware or virus problem - it is pure hardware problem).

Hi guys, thanks for all your feedback. This PC is used by my brother just for light gaming such as Euro Truck Simulator 2, Minecraft, etc etc

Its an Armageddon AK3

PSU used now is Magnum Pro 275,

Based on the specs I googled, 275W pure power, 550W standard .

Can u guys recommend me a compatible replacement for it? Budget is preferably as low as possible (but must be average quality) since this PC is not for hardcore, intensed gaming

If your budget below RM200, get a CoolerMaster PSU.

Can post your system's temperature when it is running ?
As others say, could be a bad PSU.

Looks pretty normal to me

but sometimes the CPU temp fluctuates under 30 C, which is odd.. cause even my room temperature is higher than that

FYI, your PSU is very very cap ayam, I have seen a few of those fried. Change it to something better, Cooler Master offers a few model for non hardcore usage. If don't want Cooler Master then avoid unknown brand. Buy those that has 2 x 12V rail. But before skip to the conclusion as a faulty PSU causing your issue, also check for bad capacitor on your mobo, even though your mobo uses solid capacitor which is almost impossible to gone bad, but still do a check.

For under RM200 you could have a 500W from Silverstone or Acbel. But most likely its not power supply. If you could see inside your PC and check if the capacitors are in good shape. It would cause same problem also. But in some cases a change in the BIOS battery CR2032 would solve the problem.

Before spending top money do this check first.

- BIOS battery test for low voltage
- Visually check capacitor for leaks
- Borrow power supply to test

If the Pc is over 3 years, there are many things you should consider before dumping any more money on it. Else a new pc would be more logical in the long run.
