Newbie Q: Anyone knows the function of both forms and why must we apply for it upon full settlement of a property? any experts care to elaborate further?

The bank took your property as collateral for the loan granted to you. Since you have paid off your loan, the bank will release the collateral, hence executiin of the discharge of charge.

Ok, thanks for clarifying the discharge of charge. How about Deed of Receipt and Reassignment?

I believe that your property is still under master title so the bank just reassign the rights back to you. If individual title is already in place, there shouldn't be a deed of receipt and reassignment.

Hi all,

Any one can share how much is the legal fee for discharge of charge ???

If my property is leasehold and stratatitle has been issued, is the title under me or title is under bank?

All, I asked for several quotations, including several legal firms under the bank's panel, it is around RM 800++ without discount.

Should be around that price.. same as execution of MOT fees..

Title should be in your name but added gadaian by bank just below your name. If finished loan don't have this, just your name only.
