Technical Xbox one controller can't connect, Help please

Need help i just bought a new xbox one and the first thing the controller won't sync with the console..has anyone experienced this?
I've tried sorts of youtube videos and still didn't work..seriously need help |

Free bump for the thread .. can I just use normal USB - Micro USB cable to connect the XBOX One Wireless controller to the console ?

Yes because it is universal, more over when you buy the Wireless Controller the USB cable is not included. the Cable is needed for Controller firmware update. |
