Hi. I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask.
I have a friend whom I've got to know in China and he is really interested in working in Malaysia.
He's visited KL on numerous occasions and feels really good about our country.

My questions is, does anyone know what are the visa requirements OR other requirements (be it standard or not) that must be met in order for a Chinese National to enter our country and work for a living?
I've tried Googling the question but have not come up with satisfactory answers.
My friend is 25 this year and plans to work here long term.

Please advice.
Thanks.

1st, get a company to hire him in order to proceed working visa but mind that not much company willing to do so if they can hire a local with same pay. unless he possesses some special skills that local don't have. Otherwise, aim those China company that have office set up in Malaysia. Much easy.

Second is his basic salary must have min 5k to get expatriate working visa.

The company i work for hired 20 other foreigner including me..
Our total staff around 40 person.

It is not difficult if the employer ready to employ your friend provided he have the qualification needed by the company.

It's gonna be much easier if the company
1. MSC status company
and / or
2. Certified and registered to the Ministry related by the field of industry

My developer and designers are fresh grad with age ranging from 22-25
all of them holding professional employment pass as expatriate with 2 year renewable employment multiple entry visa.

conclusion: find the company first

He's just an Admin Exec bro. Nothing special. But after visiting our country a few times he found that he really dig our lifestyle and culture.
That's why he's thinking of starting something here.
Call it young and silly but I guess I'd support him nevertheless lol.

If your friend is not a profession, the only thing that comes to my mind is mandarin customer service.

He just need a degree and basic mandarin ability.
Try jobstreet.
