QUOTE(Special Agent @ May 27 2015, 09:13 PM) It's not. If you work in a professional services firm then you will know. Professional services firm staff have to go through independence check every year, even declare what shares you own, etc. If there is a perceived conflict, you cannot go anywhere near the engagement. If you say conflict like this, then all the SEC chairman family members in PwC... how to count? |

QUOTE(CaptainAmerica @ May 27 2015, 09:15 PM) Yup, as much as I support opposition... sometimes I think they really never use their cow sense when they open their mouth. It's right that they flag out all the irregularities in 1MDB, but when they start making up stuff to gain political mileage, that's just desperate. Like that retard Charles Santiago. |

if 1MDB really leverage Nizar position to get a favourable audit result, then why have EY and KPMG as the previous audit firms? Why not just appoint Deloitte right at very start? |

QUOTE(eksk @ May 28 2015, 08:27 AM) where are they now? so you mean the audit by Arthur Andersen all above board? that its okay for them to somehow miss all the mismanagement by Enron? so you have just prove my point... an unqualified audit doesn't do squat at proving there is no mismanagement, fraud etc.. By the time the Supreme Court overturned the conviction, the damage had already been done - with most country member firms having joined either Deloitte or E&Y. Do you understand what it means when the Supreme Court overturns a conviction?Arthur Andersen is still around, especially if you go to their Q Center in Chicago (the former bastion of AA). That's why, kalau tak faham or tak tahu anything... don't just quote sensational headlines and pretend like you know squat. |

QUOTE(shadow_walker @ May 28 2015, 09:52 AM) It's not about kuat kerja or anything. I memang believe that this 1MDB is a big pile of tahi lembu waiting to explode...But then spreading misinformation to gain political mileage just shows that opposition sama je dengan BN when it comes to dirty politics... macam that retard Santiago who post Thai pictures and say it is in Perlis. The problem with misinformation is that you will manage to sway the stupid majority, and that's how BN has been getting away with leading this country into the ground for the last few decades. |

QUOTE(noien @ May 28 2015, 09:02 AM) they wanted EY and PWC but in the end, their acc is too good to be true and too much songlap i guess. that is the reason they only do for a year then give up. EY signed the accounts in FY2010.QUOTE(Benzodiazepines @ May 28 2015, 10:00 AM) EY signed FY2010.KPMG signed FY2011 and FY2012. Deloitte signed FY2013. Note that Deloitte were the first auditors who highlighted the 'interesting' transactions, e.g. the RM5b transferred to overseas accounts. |

QUOTE(eksk @ May 28 2015, 06:53 PM) pandai sangat cuba terangkan kepada orang, instead of throwing around a superior attitude of "i know better than you" attitude.. so far i have not seen any explanation from you why Arthur Andersen should be absolve of any wrong doings .. just avoidance on you part on explaining... and belittleling anyone who has an opinion different from yours.... it's not "i know better than you"...good luck trying to persuade people the auditor is blameless in this fiasco with this kind of "explanation" it's called "learn to fcking google"... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Anders...._United_States please learn to differentiate between "opinion" and "fact". and it's spelled "belittling". |
