Tried paying Maxis Fibre with JomPay. Next month check MCC see how.

Wat is jompay?  Saw it at all my online banking but don't really know how it work

recently hlb called my daughter offering her hlb wise gold (she cancelled her platinum earlier). so the promo of first swipe 50% off capped at rm80 (as i shared before) also offered to her.

at the same time, i told her about the 30% cb promo on dining/grocery/departmental ending soon. so i asked her to remember sms to register for the promo. few days ago, she received her cc and activated it. she remembered i told her that we can just swipe rm1 for petrol 3x to be entitled for the 30% promo (if we have nothing else to buy).

so she swiped rm1 x 3 times today! oh no, she forgotten her first swipe 50% offer! so her cash back will be 50 cents only (out of max rm80)!

Does the SMKT indicated the mcc code will be under grocery?

Anyone tried paying Maxis bill using HL Wise card through m2u?

I tried to pay through m2u with my HL Wise card but unsuccessful.
"Status: Unsuccessful - Account is not authorised. Reject code: [0003] "

did you call m2u to ask ?
or have you find a solution for this?

just register an account for yourself, then use Maxis Pay to pay your postpaid bills or reload Hotlink.

made bill payment to YES 4G postpaid using Wise via YES Self Care.

confirmed under Mobile category with MCC: 4814. Called CS to verify this. Gonna wait for Sep bill statement later

Note: Payment via YES Self Care does not trigger the TAC. It will goes thru immediately after confirming card details.

However, there is an SMS notification sent to your mobile:

speaking of RM5 auto-billing, probably good idea too. just need to find out when is the exact auto-billing date, then quickly pay manually (leaving RM1 outstanding) before auto-billing kicks in. 

it's RM5 autobill rebate (Yes) + 10% cashback of reamining outstanding (HLB Wise).

assuming you continuingly use the service, RM5 on next bill is to offset the outstanding. the rinse & repeat.

gotta test it out first.

i have a feeling this may work because:

1) Autobilling will kick in exactly on bill date itself. Confirmed this with CS.
2) If I enable autobilling today, RM5 rebate will be given to my upcoming September bill.
3) Autobilling is basically an automated manual bill payment using credit card (see screenshot below).

I'll try this autobilling and see how the results in 1 month's time. 2 months to see my Wise statement on October (for autobilling on Sep).   

inluding YES, all 5 supported mobile operators by HLB Wise' MOBILE category 

it is said that the inventory for the card is out, they are waiting for reorder.

2 months will be gone without cashback before annual fee kicks in 10 months later.

the wise card also appeared in my hl acct since 3 weeks ago, just waiting for the card delivery..

Like this if my TNB bill is RM 1k a month, i just pay RM 50 for 9 times, and pay RM 550 for 1 time.. total RM 1k..

Then straight away rebate RM 100 per month... ??
