as long as you activated the cb, any amount smaller than rm50 which you swipe (or swiped) before or after the activation, will get 10% cb as long as it's within your chosen categories.

yeah, now they are actively calling back those who cancelled their hlb wise plat one year ago, to reinstate their card but downgrade to gold by offering same first year af waiver and 50% off from first swipe capped at rm80.

perhaps this telemarketing staff just want easy way to hit her target. calling those ex-plat wise card holders by offering gold card (same features but less af) is much easier to get their applications in. no need to explain so much as they already know this card features well.

hlb can just said bcs there are people earlier than you and that 50k cb allocation finished before you (although they can't justify how 50k cb allocation finished before 9:30am saturday when most dining/grocery/departmental open at 10am).
