Just stumbled upon a video and thought of sharing it(not too sure if this was posted before though). Some pretty nice driving skills with two hot hatches. One is the Subaru Impreza STI, while the other car is either the Ford Focus ST or RS, extensively modified.
The opening of the video was pretty good, and the part where the Ford Focus was flying up in the air before hitting the ground, the loose front bonet shows that the car was pretty beat up driven in those brutal conditions.
I have downloaded the video in high-definition and it is best to watch it in HD.
Thats Ken Block, his car is a rally spec Fiesta (not Focus) which is heavily modified with AWD and 600 hp. The only thing left from the original car is basically just the chassis, and even that is significantly strengthened.
These cars are made to be abused in either open rally courses or rallycross competitions.

Thanks for the correction. That must be the Fiesta ST then, heavily modified. Can't really tell with all the fancy camouflage paintwork on the body.
Which fiesta it is is not important when you can strip it down and build it from the ground up.
Don't quite understand what you are trying to imply with your post. Any car can be stripped down and built from ground up with the right circumstances.
Film retakes makes Ken Block look good. There are no retakes in real life competition.
Indeed. I think he's at no man's land
All his promo videos are half drifting half precision with 4wd after dunno how many round of practice since there are lotsa rubber visibly laid on the surface.
Drifting with 4wd[pro level] is like using cheatcode in gaming

What he means is, it doesn't matter if it was a Fiesta ST or just a normal Fiesta, because it has been completely stripped and rebuilt to rally specs.

A suzuki swift jwrc is not the same as your average suzuki swift or swift sport.
Sebastien Loeb's 208 pikes peak challenger is also not the same as the 208 you can buy at the dealership.
So, what does it matter whether it is the fiesta or the fiesta st since it will end up being better than either one anyways?

Well, whether Fiesta or Fiesta ST matters or does not matter, it doesn't matter to me. The fact is the car is a modified Ford Fiesta ST, some Fiesta variant. That is what I had written. Whether it matters or not, that is your concern, not mine.
its not that brutal.. just normal practice for any racing driver can do this.. hey, even in malaysia we got karamjit singh which awesome too.. but he's not likely to do show off with this kind of thing.. for what purpose actually?
