those motherboard with copper heatpipes will only create more heat on the mobo itself unless proper cooling is applied.
from the past i have been using DFI mobo with simple northbridge cooling, none of them hinder my overclocking ability.
- passive heatsink on socket A DFI Infinity - passive heatsink on socket 754 DFI LANparty - normal low profile aluminium cooler on socket AM2 Biostar TF550 - normal low profile aluminium cooler on socket AM2 DFI Infinity

QUOTE(siauann @ Nov 2 2006, 12:19 AM) i would hv use ths board if the atx power socket is in the normal placement like those other boards it's odd that all newer DFI Infinity AMD mobos are locating ATX power connectors at the right side of the motherboard already, but not on Intel's, like this mobo for example. QUOTE(mjoe @ Nov 16 2006, 09:29 AM) what can i say this is cheaper version of 975 mobo...still use normal cap instead of solid cap... It uses solid caps around the cpu area if you see properly.
