Pasir Panjang is a stretch of sandy beach on the southwestern tip of Penang Island, facing the Straits of Malacca. Once Pasir Panjang was just a quiet fishing hamlet, with a handful of fisherman's huts. Today, the huts were gone, taken over by Kem Bina Negara, an outward bound camp

Since we got folks from Penang here, I wanna ask (kacau topic for awhile sorry). Is Pulau Jerejak Resort any good? I heard that it's a Spa Resort. Have you guys been/stayed there?

(No need to tell me all the ghost stories, I am immune to that!)

I've got a few photos taken when I was there,...er last year. I'll post it up to my online album later in the afternoon.
However, nothing much there, as yet.

went there for a visit since my aunt from Auz came back and wanted to go have a look.
There were a lot of places not completed yet. A lot of gov agencies go there to conduct seminars and meetings. There were a couple of camping sites, a hanging bridge (need to pay: but when I was there, no one was standing there to collect), a jungle trek,
a children playground. when I bought the ticket, it came with a meal at the resort's restaurant (but not tasty).
Ah,... haven't uploaded the photos yet. Have to settle some stuff first.

edit:
I wouldn't recommend swimming on the beach there, who knows what kind of chemicals are leaking out from the factories...
