Hello, I have a Fujifilm S5000 which is in good condition. A few weeks ago, i'm not able to take pictures as i can only see a black background and a scratchy image on the LCD and viewfinder. After i snap a photo, i get the same image(black and scratchy images)

Better for you to send to fujiflim service center to check. If not under warantty anymore, ask them to identify the problem and quote you the repair fee b4 repair.

Yeah. Their head office in Menara Axis. just behind Asia Jaya LRT station. They offer you parking discount also. If you haven't buy then try to get 2 yr extended warranty from Fujifilm for RM50 only.
I advised the same to my friend who bought 6500FD last week.
