QUOTE(kembara @ Feb 5 2007, 11:10 AM) heheh i think cannot la...if in your bedroom may be the possibility to lost is less..but in whole house... i afraid you will end with buying another gerbil pulak..gerbill is bigger than hamster..but not as big as your lop eared rabbit to let them go around hehe.. btw better wait for answer from who has tame gerbils..my gerbils not tame maa...huhuhu QUOTE(nezumitaro @ Feb 5 2007, 11:42 AM) house canot, a fully block room can. they wouldn't really hide in a conner, they will run beside u, u can grap them easily. thanks guys for the answer... i see that all of the gerbils are provided with wood shaving... is it ok to use all kind of wood shaving or is it still a BIG NO to PINE and CEDAR wood shavings...? tq...

QUOTE(casablanca2 @ Feb 7 2007, 01:01 PM) i change once a week. it depends on ur bedding depth la.. if u put a lot of bedding, then u can change less. i change the whole shaving QUOTE(jaswwp @ Feb 7 2007, 02:01 PM) For me it depends how many gerbils are in that tank. I change once in 3 weeks for those 2 feet tank with 2 gerbils. Then change once in 2 weeks for the 2 feet tanks with 4 or more gerbils inside. thanks guys... i really into gerbils now... don't have them yet... but the 2ft tank already prepared... hopefully i'll get mine soon...

QUOTE(hao @ Feb 7 2007, 07:05 PM) Hiding under bed is not a good way for you and your gerbils. Air ventilation is low and it's dusty under the bed. And you won't want some scratching noise under you when you wanna have a good sleep after having a tiring day, will you? sorry guys... what i meant is when mummy do the spot check, then only hide them under the bed... when the 'line' is clear take them out la... not to 'station' the gerbils there... (see... kena tembak already... )
