LOL! Don't tell me that the budget you estimated doesn't include the medical fees as well since you though that the gerbils you bought home are healthy. If you can't have more rodents cos "your housemates gonna kill you", either you buy another tank with other 2 different sexes of gerbils to keep your gerbils you're keeping now as companion, or just like what Reanne said, change one of them from the shop you bought from. Letting them mate and give birth isn't a good idea, since your budget is quite limited judging from what you said in the previous posts.

Erm.. find the day that you're free, take Putra LRT to Kelana Jaya station, then wait for the free Ikano feeder bus to take you to Ikano there, on the way you'll see 1U... like that then you'll know where's 1U, Ikea, Ikano and the curve at the same time liao lor... lol

well, just something to tell u from experience.. sometimes when gerbil pups are born, all of them are the same gender. Then if like tat, eiher the mum or dad will be alone lo, if u planned to keep boys with dad n gals with mum... so if u dont want so many rodents, still better to buy another pair of gerbils to teman ur existing... gerbils can give birth up to 8 pups...although around 4-6 is more common for the 1st litter

I duduk Cheras la. Dont have girlfriend ler... That's why duduk rumah play Sims and Oblivion. And that's why devoting my love to my gerbils (who are currently trying to escape at the moment i type this, i leave the lid open and he thinks I dint notice he is planning a prison break sweat.gif )

I always have no sense of direction. I only started to know where MidValley last year and I often get lost on my way to Angkasapuri (my internship). Huhu~

tht's y go out more to explore ma.. after u use the same road for several times, u dont need ur direction sense to lead u edi.. ur instinct will tell u how to continue tongue.gif
furthermore next time if ur gf said wait u at IKEA, then how?
gerbs always will try to find any possible way to escape one. so becareful. mayb u can put their tank at higher ground just like me. my gerbs dont dare to jump if they observe n realise is too high for them smile.gif

Yeah yeah... You should find Ikano dude! LoL... the petshop there is quite nice. Although I think if I'm not mistaken, there was once they mishandled a dog there and it died because it wasn't given any proper treatment. Read it from the newspaper.

Well I heard gerbil mites are small, but you can test for them by wrapping the gerbils in tissue paper for 1 minute.... then after tat inspect the tissue for any tiny bloog specks of moving things.... but getting a gerbil to remain quietly in tissue paper wrapped around it like slim wrap is not easy..hahaha....

Dust mites are easily treated and cause no real harm to the Gerbil other than being irritating. However, if you are highly unfortunate you may end up with blood sucking bird mites which are very hard to get rid of and can take weeks/months before you are free of them. The bird mites are very dangerous and if not treated quickly enough your gerbils can and will die because of the mites sucking their blood and weakening their immune system.
