im quite new to linux and i'm trying to test to install ipcop on virtual machine before getting an old machine to really do it. so far i'm able to get it running. i'm trying to get some programs to work in it, for example webserver and BT server.

but how do i compile and install from source ? ipcop doesnt have any development tools. i tried compiling in ubuntu and then copy it to the ipcop but it cant work? how do i do it?
