Hello Rosdi, the carbon cleaning process does NOT include cleaning the engine throttle.
Engine throttle cleaning is a separate process that requires taking out the engine, at Wai Auto they also provide this service if you need it, thanks.

Hi, I drive a 1996 Jeep Cherokee. I have just used Oilyman decarbonizer for my Jeep. How is the service different compared to the liquid type decarbonizer?

Honestly I do not know much about the Oilyman product so can't comment much on it.

As for the Epoch carbon cleaning service, what the device actually does is,

1) To convert water intake into oxy-hydrogen.

2) Then during the service an oxy-hydrogen enriched gas is pumped into the engine via the intake manifold.

3) This causes a very complete combustion in the engine which loosen all the carbon deposits in the engine that have been accumulated throughout the years.

4) It cleans the valve, intake manifold, upper cyclinders and the pistons.

This results in a better breathing engine, and thus more power.

Is it like jetclean tronic from liqui moly?

Yes, it's similar in that both are carbon cleaning the engine.

I think jetclean tronic uses liquid moly additives in the cleaning process, whereas Epoch do not use any additive, just plug it to engine and it uses oxy-hydrogen (breakdown by machine from water) to do the cleaning.

Went there today around 1pm to do carbon cleaning. Mr. Wai was very friendly and i just waited 45 mins for it to be done. He explain alot of everything and keeps promoting engine products. Haha. Anyway, my drive home is actually smoother and lighter as i do not have to full press my accelerator pedal all the time just to get the "kick". Highly recommended for cars of any age. Give it a try and you'll definitely feel the difference. =D
