Or maybe you can do some research which one suits you best. 4K or 1440p. The Dell monitor you have is 4K, right?

I jumped from 27" TN 1080p and I'm happy with IPS Ultrawide.

Colours are definitely shaper compared to my previous TN panel. 1080p to 1440p changes sure visible lo. Hah. Not sure from 4k resolution to 1440p will change how much. Never experience 4K resolution yet.

Aiming in CS is really easy now... All of the in game character are big *despite playing with black bars on the side. LOL

4K is consider downgrade   
34" ultrawide is 27" 1440P that's wider.

But pixel count 1440p is downgrade wor...

how big is your 4K monitor? going to ultrawide from 4K except for more immersion when gaming and more horizontal space not much difference i guess

2560X1080 sure not that syiok, most suited for people on budget lor..go full blown 3440X1440 for the ultimate experience

one thing sucks using ultrawide is watching youtube 16:9 content..but watch 1080p movie even ahem ahem version is awesome

Save up and go ultra wide 1440P    I had been eyeing for 1-2 years before fire away, no regret 

since you already spend so much, just spend a little bit more to perfect it. 

Going to pick up my PG348Q after work. Luckily the shop open today despite it is a public holiday. 

Get it at quite a good price I think - RM4,299.  Here are 2 photos as requested. 

Initial impression - it is not as big as I expected, the height is a bit short.  Maybe I have use to the tall display of the Dell U3014, need some time to get used to.

The font is much smaller than I expected too at default resolution 3440x1440.  Dun think the font at my previous Dell U3014 is this small.  So will aim for 38" 3440x1440 @ 144hz 3 years later. 

Watching 21:9 youtube and movies are damn nice.    Yet to have time to test game yet.

Edit: 1 more thing - the stand although very nice with the lighting on, is really takes up too much of desk space - a third party monitor arm is a must.

Already RM2k off normal price of RM6k plus, so can't complain much. ;D

im enjoying my x34, its big its got the right amount of ppi and gsync is absolutely great for gaming 

Got 4k monitor just stay with it for now lah, no point changing and its not a cheap change of hardware anyway. For some of here including myself, we ascended from 23" 1080p monitor, so the jump in advancement is worth the price
