Yeah, some games do make use of the Nunchuk. Two of Nintendo Land's games require you to use it if you play multiplayer (Link and Metroid). Also, Pikmin 3 requires the nunchuk if you want to use the Wii Remote, which you should consider if you want to benefit from the Wii pointer.

When it comes to external HDD, what do you guys recommend? I hear that you need to have a Y-cable or those which are powered, but can't quite find something like them.

I also don't need something with too much space, as 500GB is enough for me, though I wouldn't mind 1TB.
