Hello OC sifu's,

Does LYP still sell KVR533's that can do DDR800 speeds easily ?

Am planning to get 1GB*2 or 512MB*2 so am hopeful that I can find KVR533s that would allow me to achieve these speeds

If these are not available, what would you recommened? Am on a tight tight budget.

if its good will buy it next time..

i think according to some KVR owners
they say the chips are Hynix C4(though there are still elpidia chips)
shouldn't be a problem OCing to DDR800 as most of them can do it easily and even go above that

yep that's it. Your KVR's already running at DDR920 so I wouldn't be complaining. Am looking at 512MB*2 sticks - do you know if LYP stocks these now? And if so, what markings should I be looking for ?

i got 2 sticks of kvr pc4200 ddr533 now running 4-4-4-12 @ ddr800 2.1vdimm
its a Hynix C4 chips

winbond does not produce ddr2

lastime i when for this pair still got alot, but most of em' were 512mb capasity
the 1gb so hard to find..

dood~ this is not showing off...this is lettin the threadstarter knw the capabilities of ddr533 running @ ddr800...i knw u can run higher..there's nthg u can brat about!

hynix C4 can easily do DDR2-1000 with CL5 timings

just before raya i found some kvr with elpida chip at lyp.. but honestly i forgot which shop as i was looking at too many shops..

just go and try your luck however i dont know how elpida chip does oc...



btw if you're looking for ddr2-800 just look at garage section mjoe's selling micron d9gkx over there....

damn good to oc...
