Rob Green rejects Chelsea, opts to stay with QPR

Previously, the story with Green was that his number one priority was to stay in the Premier League, which then put him on Chelsea's supposed shortlist to replace Petr Cech, should he decide to give up the backup life. But apparently Green does not want to be a backup either, so I guess we might as well cross him off the list.

Our hunt for back up keeper continues. Who would u want to see being our back up keeper if Cech really leaves? Any homegrown player in the market? Or do we go back to Ruddy?

McGregor or Steve Harper from Hull? Harper got experience in PL after playing so many years for Newcastle. Certainly Harper can do a Hilario with us.

That would be the most ideal situation. Cech willing to stay wif us for a few more years, maybe until he is 34-35. Just to see Courtois taking over his mantle, then Cech seek for new challenge abroad in Spain.

Seems like we're interested in Alderweireld? I'm a big fan of Belgium this guy, not a bad defender, did well in Atletico and S'ton. Would like to see him donning the blue jersey. He is versatile too, can play RB or CB, just like a younger Ivanovic.
