Brand : Any except Samsung and Lenovo
Budget : 2.0k~2.4k
Specs : Screen size under 5", can upgrade to Android M, LTE capable
What you need in the phone : dedicated camera button preferable, great camera, excellent panorama feature, minimal manufacturer app (like TouchWiz), prefer natural OS, prefer not to root, microSD is a plus,

Intended use : Very light, minimal game, mostly use for Whatsapp & listening to podcast, heavy camera usage, no selfie intended, great low light camera performance greatly preferred

Wanna try Honor 7 Enhanced?
It's 3GB ram, Internal memory 32GB and got microSD card slot also...
price? RM1499

u can get 128GB memory card with ur leftover budget...
front camera... super awesome... 8MP
rear camera 20MP sony lens... tongue.gif comes with the pro camera mode (for u to adjust all ur ISO/etc...)
*
rear is f/2.0

i feel it's better if I throw in another RM500 for LG G4 for f/1.8 rear camera with OIS

Sony Xperia Z5 Compact is also pretty tempting. Lots of camera apps. Smaller screen 4.7".
battery life seems good
but seems like got overheating problem.

i didnt reccommend LG G4 since u wanted screen size below 5" but beware of the bootload problem that the users are facing where the phone are bricked

if u dont mind big phones... LG V10 (aka camera king at the moment) or Huawei Mate 8 (another good alternative)
*
Honor 7 Enhanced is also above 5"

that's why i prefer unrooted phone / as vanilla android as possible so i won't brick it

I really like LG V10 but 5.7" is huge!
If only they made a compact version.
