Hello Again Guys .
I'm the guy that made so many posts about A7000+ / K3 Note / Redmi Note 2
I decided now to go buy Redmi Note 2 ( I Really want the Redmi Note 3 but since its AP set there should be so many problems for few months )
1.How is the GPS lock on these phones ?
2.I need an advice , I want to go to lowyat to maybe put hands on few of them to check them .is it a good idea to buy the phone from there aswell ? is there any trustworthy shop that I can go to ?
3.does it worth to buy the Malaysia set for 100+ ? do they take the warranty seriously ?
Thanks in Advance .
*

Hi all, planning to buy basic smartphone for my mom and dad
Any recommendation? no need canggih2, as long as can use whatsapp, dual sim and basic functions (calls, sms, radio, camera) are decent should be OK
Was looking for the DirectD promo for Lumia 630 buy 1 free 1 but sudah sold-out pulak

1. Brand. (any)
2. Budget. (rm500 for 2 phones)
3. Specs. (basic entry level smartphone with dual sim and reliable basic functions i.e. calls, sms, radio, camera )
4. What you need in the phone (easy to use as this is for my mom and dad who are >50 years old)

Thanks in advance

rm250 is very limited budget for a smartphone.
can only get very basic smartphone, but at least this 2 got 1gb ram.

yeah it is limited budget, but then i just want my parent to get a feel of using smartphone first
if OK, only can consider a better smartphone

what if i remove the dual-sim requirement, is there any more phones can be recommended?
*
Cheaper somemore doh.gif Alcatel Pixi 3, but note this only got half everything of Y5C. so Y5C is a better option than this.

Mx4 is quite a capable phone at rm699, but 16gb without sd slot may be a problem for some ppl.

Any good phones that have battery 5k and above
*
If u really after battery life and don't care other thing, then go for K10000!
Monster battery phone

Other wise, get the zenfone Max or redmi 3(4K only but still very long battery life).

My bro in law is using the redmi note 2, and performance is pretty disappointing. lags, random crashes, slow...

Actually considering the redmi note 3, but the current one has the helio x10, was hoping to get her the newer one with the SD650. But by the time that gets to our shore, all my teeth would have fallen out already.

any other recommendations?
*
RN2, RN3, and especially RN3 Pro are hard to beat in term of price/performance ratio!

btw what's the difference between the imported set and ori MY set apart from the warranty?

lot of price diff tho.
*
i was told AP set's rom may contained bloatware and sometime malware. Whereas ori set c/w official rom. Maybe u can go to RN2 to ask abt this when u decided on this model. I dun own rn2 but knowing this is best bang for buck model. If u know better bang for buck model do let me know. brows.gif

Hi sifus, please help me choose phone for my dad.
1. Brand: Any (no xiaomi, my dad previous phone RN1, he wants to try other brand)
2. Budget: <Rm700
3. Specs: Good battery life, good camera, no lag, good display
4. What you need in the phone: Mainly my dad use for wassap, take pictures

I am eyeing Lenovo A7000+, Alcatel Flash 2, Meizu Note2, Huawei Y6C. Not quite sure which one have the best camera coz my dad use camera quite a lot.
*
I hv no own own Y6c (i believe this is d only 8Mega pixel cam here)and A7000+. So can't talk abt them.
Between af2 n mn2,
MN2 got better camera and display
whereas AF2 got better battery life and faster software experience (almost stock android, 720p display)

guys, wanna ask for opinion on:-
1) Homtom HT6
2) Oukitel K6000

Both also around RM900 on lazada now. battery is 6000mah. using mediatek 6735 1.0GHz with 2GB RAM.

how's the expected performances of that chip? smooth enough to play COC? battery performance? anyone has tried the brand? is it quality enough? wont explode on hand right?

edited: or is lenovo vibe p1 is better overall?

thanks for the feedback.
*
