What is the right build for Subtank Mini ? I still cannot get the right build for flavour , but so far the one i am happy with is 26 awg 6 wraps ( spaced coils ) .

20A battery and Samsung 25R or LG HE4 is good enough. Max amp on ipv mini2 with 70 watt and 0.2 ohm build = 17 amps.

and yes you can charge from USB cable. I do that when im at work/friends house. But usually i charge with external charger to keep battery life healthy

The battery i have in mine is the LG HE4, so far no problem. The only need for care in batteries is if you're going to build a coil with super low resistance.

Only in emergencies i will charge through the USB cable, as with most i charge all my batteries externally. I think that port is meant for updating firmware.

Normal for subtank mini it's kind of famous for it..got some forumer solve it though.

optimal battery discharge is at 3.7v..

for a sub ohm coil, especially for your coil, u need to fire at least 4.2v or better still since u r on ipv2, at least 22watts..

thats why it glows slowly when u fire at 3.4v..

do not fire below 3.7v as it will damage ur battery faster, same like fire above ur battery amp limit..

i'm not good in calculating battery amp limit but battery should be optimally discharge between 3.7v(based on standard discharge rate) and 4.2v(full battery charge rate)..

since newer battery has high amp limit between 30A - 40A, u can dischagre at hire volt, 4.2v and above max 5v iinm on single battery 7v+ on dual battery config..

at least 3.7v, depending on its rated volt.
some high drain batteries are rated at 3.6v.
under volt will strain ur bettery to perform at optimal rate..
it'll take longer time to heat up the coil compared firing at higher volt..
