sorry there are debate on that. the original vtc5 is same spec as vtc4 but it was taken down due to some other rumors. vtc5 suppose to be like vtc4 with higher capicity. however the new document show its 20a but we all know that vtc5 has stopped production as well. i can keep going and going with other rumors that vtc5 starting production again and on and on and on.
thats why vtc5 were popular in the day

anyway FT does test batteries before selling em, how they test it beats me. Maybe they dont do as intensive as AWT does, or maybe they do? never bothered with it. And never seen vtc "exploding" before than also thats why it gained its reputation. i just always advice dont go for vtcs because clones exists everywhere compared to other cells.
