Hi, does anyone manage to connect from HDMI port to the DVI port in U2311h? I try a few methods but the screen still fail to detect any signal from my HDMI port in laptop. I test my laptop with my TV and is OK, so HDMI port failure is excluded.

1. I bought the HDMI to DVI cable.(FAIL)
2. I change to DVI(Male) to HDMI (Female) Adapter, the the HDMI cable connect from the Adapter to laptop(FAIL as well).
3. I change to DVI(Female) to HDMI(male) and connect using DVI cable from my laptop to monitor( haven't try yet and hope it will success as this is my last resort).

I so tired run here and there to get all the adapter and cable and I hope someone can enlighten/advise me how to make it work. Thanks.

Updated: Finally it work using third method which is -->DVI(Female) to HDMI(Male) adapter plug on laptop side and connect using DVI cable from the adapter to monitor.

Case closed.

Got display port in laptop?

Use display port to dvi.

Too bad no display port, only have HDMI and VGA. That why I try using HDMI to DVI.
