Used Canon f/2.8 17-55mm vs Sigma f/2.8 17-50mm, which one should i choose?

Hi all, i am planning to buy a new lens which is Used Canon f/2.8 17-55mm or Sigma f/2.8 17-50mm. May i know which one should i choose?
and is Sigma aperture able to reach 2.8 at 50mm ? |

Yes Sigma remains at F2.8 even at 50mm. Canon 17-55 is slightly sharper than Sigma. If you have experience in inspecting lens then you can go for used Canon unit.and is Sigma aperture able to reach 2.8 at 50mm ?  |
