about the sales charge, is it only 1 time during buying? or it's both for buying and selling?

should be applicable to buying only....
unless there are some funds also having redemption fees too...need to check the fund factsheet, prospectus or highlight sheet for details...
most probably PM funds don't hv redemption fees

about the annualised return, does it means that if i park the same money into FD, the interest will be 7.18%?

when you invest in equity unit trust funds (like example Global Select fund)......there is no "confirmed" interest, profits, dividend or losses during your investment venture in that fund....
it is an investment,...investment will be subjected to many many risks, could be it short term, long terms, severely or mildly too

what you see, ARE past performances....as Past performance is not indicative of future performance. The value of the unit trusts and the income from them may fall as well as rise.

TQ for the info, yes if based on the past average of 5 or 10 years it seems better than FD or even the EPF.

But yes also aware of the risk, if wrong timing 5 years average could be -ve
