If switch back to EPF, you lose the average unit price. UT is you buying units, it gives return in form of distribution and CG, can't compare apple with EPF.

1k in UT gives you 4000 units (assume unit price is 0.25)
1k in EPF is 1k or less, inflation counts

Peace

PISSF no distribution this year, Morningstar only 2 star. Gonna switch.

Alpha 40 distribution so low. Thinking of switching too.

But what I heard from the officer in PM HQ is first we need to identify our new agent first, then write in stating why we want to change. Never mentioned on the signature though....
*
I had done this. don't forget account number and fund name. 1 letter for each old agents. I got two.

Why need agent? You can't buy/sell yourself online (via Public online or whatever they have)? If so, that's disappointing. I thought PB will allow only self-management.

Cash yes. Epf no.

Haha...

I seldom see PM doing roadshow nowadays...perhaps people are shying away from PM these days with the bloom of DIY platform?

You can go nearest branch. See notice board the best performing UTC.

I have been a Public Mutual agent for years, then I Quit. There is a point where it is sucks to sell something that you can't control . One of the fund PISSF, didnt declare dividend in 2016. That is a sign for me to shy away.
*
Exactly why I switched to other fund.

QUOTE(AIYH @ Jan 26 2017, 07:49 PM)
You should focus on the fund performance instead of distribution,
*
Distribution is one indicator for performance

I was referring to the history of my own transaction not the fund performance.

1. Get agreement OK from FSM (just email them with details, they'll respond how to)

2. Redeem - online Public Mutual --> print to PDF, email FSM

3. Do FSM investment --> Print to PDF --> email FSM for the negation of service charges
*
Just sent initial request email. Hope for positive response from fsm.

anyone know the commission fee different on investment thru PMO and agents.
1) thru agents = 5%
2) thru PMO online = ???

btw epf thru agent = 3%
*
Still charged. Don't expect 0% charge. In pmo, agent name is selectable, if you select 'management' from list, they still charge you.
