anyone here got experience riding horse?

am thinking of enrolling horse riding lesson.

so far ive tried one place and doesnt feel quite like about the place. idk. maybe should give few more visits?
summore its been awhile since i last tried any new things.
ive been pretty much in my comfort zone, the hobbies ive invested for few years already.
idk some part of me is scared. and shy.

since ive asked few of my friends most of them like the idea but oh well its a commitment heavy activity i dont think we can make it anytime soon. dont want to let my dream die cos just waiting for friends to come along
i dont know anyone within my current list of friends in this..
thought asking here would get me some pointers..

im in klang valley, pls do share about any available open horse riding club that is within okay fee..
no way i can afford expensive club membership as we speak
and what to expect from the class etc etc

i've been eyeing bukit tinggi horse range for like...forever....... I think there is nice place you can learn + joy rite.....they have courses as well.....

their membership is not too expensive. got free rides upon joining, then can enrole for classes. I'm only using their archery range though

with my wife. she's into horsey, while i'm into archery. yes that place is very family oriented. which gives it a more relaxed atmosphere. but they do have serious classes for horse riding. with proper track and all.

unless you're really hardcore, it is always better to have a partner or 2 for these activities

i tried ride a full size european horse before at NZ.
Join a tour but only know that i need to ride the horse by my self without any help from other. First time on horse and damn scary. The guide just tell me how to move the horse and stop it. Tada, i need to go on my own.

2 Hours of horse riding including going up mountain and sheep farm is not a joke.
My ball feel like almost pecah and my ass pain for 2 days.

the bukit tinggi one have packages like that.. but they will train for the first half an hour before going out if the rider have zero experience.

why ur bottom hurts so much? could it be posture or the seat?

i tried the joyride it took me quite a while to be okay with sitting elevated 1m above ground
(i have a mild case of fear of height )

Haha. My butt and inner thighs also hurt for few days after horse riding.

Recently went for horse riding in NZ as well, along the beach and into some bushes area, up down up down for almost 2 hours also. It wasn't my first time on a horse but first time riding one on my own with no prior horse riding lessons. Luckily the horse I was on was quite tamed so it didn't ran off on its own.

But the experience really fun.
I buy the tour from groupon with 40% discount from the original price and whole tour group only me and my wife.
lucky i din take the 4hours tour or else, i cant sit on chair, hahhaa

There is a place in Bandar Tasik Puteri Rawang that give horse rides. Also if you want something more extreme go for a 3 days 2 night stay at a ranch in Rembau but you have to really be into it. You won't only be riding but bathing the horse, cleaning the stables, feeding them the whole works.

Have you found out where to go for horseriding yet? With reasonable price of course. I lately pokkai edi. Thinking maybe just do trekking, cheaper ma.

trekking free only if got all equipment ready, low maintenance just few things needs to keep replenish, anytime sure can do
