i use hwinfo64; running it while playing games. at its sensor status page, if you double clicked on the item (e.g. coremax for cpu), you can view temperatures fluctuating in graph form.

ya got. but hw give u more control than this one. honestly i also use only a few time just to record overall perfomance on my laptop. other than that HW is the best way to go.

from what i know, dell officially offers warranty period of max 4 years, starting from the date of purchase; meaning you can extend warranty to max 4 years. m17x r4 was released in 2012. it's 5 years old now.

if ur manufacturing date is before 2014.. then u cannot extend de.. latest is 2014.. then i still can extend 1 yr
