generally the lancaster is okay la. all i can say is don't expect much diecast in this "diecast" collection... but for rm9.90, go get 'em while they last (before comrade blu3hamm3r sapu all)!

both gb and au edition issue #20. mebbe my also same kot. quality doesn't look off... it looks BAD. look at the under fuselage seams... they have problem there. i think it's bacause top diecast, bottom plastic... expansion/shrink factor difference.

anyway, looking forward to the sr-71 blackbird and the f111 aardvark...

Ya, if I want to collect 1/144 scale in OK quality this 2 is my target.

f117 in the series? it hasn't been featured in either the gb or au collection

makes sense for uk collectors... the spitfire, hurricane and the harrier (plus the nighthawk). don't think the nighthawk will make it's debut as an issue since it's a fighter, not a bomber... and since allscript never provides additional freegifts, it's sadly safe to presume we won't be seeing the nighthawk. it's a good thing they didn't dish out free fighters/helicopters that were already released before though (fac/hc).

I saw this model @ AlScript today- Scale 1:144

The details are simply not refined (at this scale I think)

Its a skip for me - maybe the whole series if all are at 1:144 or 1:200 scale .........

whoa dm101... you want the lancaster in 72??? they're not called GIANT warplanes for nothing and while i appreciate a same scale collection, at 72 these will be HUGE. as it is i'm finding a hard time finding the space to display my sea dragon...

comrade strikermac, although the italeri spirit lacks the landing gear that amercom has (not that it's well built anyway), it certainly has far better detailing than the amercom version. between the two i'd go for the italeri... if u can find one at the price of the giant warplane collection though.
