It's simpler to say not to be clingy to girls and do not make girls your no 1 priority.
That can cover like 70% of the points above.

You don't have to follow them.
Problem is guys nowadays are so wussy that they think they have to follow them to get the girl. They become followers/ beta guys instead of leaders.

What it should be is to follow what is in your best interest not the girls.
You don't have to care what girls say because at the end of the day even when you proof that what girls say are wrong, they are not going to feel sorry for you or will they admit that the advice that they gave were wrong.

For example there was this girl in this forum who gave the advice that said that to get the girl, the guy "must always be there for her and care for her".
In another time , there was this male forummer who complained that the gf called him stupid and guess what the advice from girls was. "Bring her out for a nice dinner to show that you care". Wow a reward for calling your bf stupid. LOL.
