123s is categorized as poor man semi slick
http://www.achillesradial.com/en/tires/racing-tires <--- in racing category lol while ku36/ns2r are extreme category/borderline street. having brief experience with the 123 on my iswara, if it's purely track days, it's going to be awesome. however for street driving especially rain, horrible tires. |

QUOTE(1NEFZ @ May 14 2015, 09:23 PM) Yes. Thats why asking for review. Afraid during rainy days my car only can speed less than 90 with poor semi slick . Maybe I no balls and no skill. But when my car was ice skating even stopping for traffic light, that's it, sold the tires straight lol Extreme category (ku36 or ns2r) should be Ok as they are street tires. Just be more cautious on rainy days. |

Thinking of kumho as my friend said the tyres perform well on dry and wet kinda good also. He plan to change 123S, but seems like I stick back with nankang lolBut when my car was ice skating even stopping for traffic light, that's it, sold the tires straight lol Extreme category (ku36 or ns2r) should be Ok as they are street tires. QUOTE(SuperVelocity @ May 19 2015, 01:18 AM) 123s not bad on rainy days due to the tyre pattern is very deep. Decent price for a high performance tyre. Bro you're using it ? How was it overall? As feedback from my friend that during dry its performed, but when raining little skid so ya. If I'm not mistaken market price around 270+ |

I'm highly against the NS2R. Lasted me barely 2-3 months and grip level dropped significantly by the time it hit 30-40% treadwear. Wet grip was decent when it still had threads.

Yeap if budget allows, the Ad08r would be an even better choice. Lower noise levels and longer lasting than the r1r |

Treadwear isn't the sole factor determining a tire category. Achilles has always been known to have really high treadwear across their range, almost double their competition within the same category. And again, I am basing this according to Achilles themselves putting the 123s as racing/competition tires. My own experience matches as well : after warm up, non wet conditions, they are great. On wet, forget about it. Too scary for my own preference. |
