agak2 la tapis no need refining. still need distillation maa. if you said tapis dont need desalting that is true as salt content of tapis was very low during its initial period around 1990 if im not mistaken lah, but now tapis need desalting as salt content is typical like other light crude.

tapis still being fed to PSR1 and PSR2 refinery in melaka and PPT in terengganu.
