QUOTE(ikan_semilang @ Oct 26 2006, 08:03 PM) Any idea how to clean if happen like that? My casing also become no shinny already like when i buying it 1st time. Sorry guys, but aluminum oxidises with oil from human fingerprints. So far, I've not come across any solvent or polish that restores it to its original shiny form.Only way is to avoid oxidation to begin with. That means carefully wiping all shiny surfaces with a damp rag and a small ammount of soap. The WorkRig is as beautiful as when we first met.... ... although my MacPro makes the WorkRig look liked a Proton modded to look like a Aston Martin.... |

QUOTE(deric88 @ Dec 4 2006, 12:03 AM) i am always wondering, why ppl like lian-li casing so much, they're just plain designed expensive thick and heavy casing........ And I'm sure, driving around in your Proton, you wonder why, why, why would anyone pay top dollar for a BMW or *gasp* a Porsche. You could bling-out your ride with the big spoiler, gargantuan exhaust and enough neon to light up the local pasar-malam with far less damage to the bank account. Good for you.... but to each his own. The guys on this forum appreciate the clean aluminum bezels from the house of Ah-Lian (siput anniversary model excluded). Allow us our pleasure (and spare us the thick and heavy comment). |

QUOTE(hypermax @ Dec 6 2006, 06:45 PM) Ermm.... i have a question here Alcohol won't clean glue from double-sided tape. You need paraffin.Does alcohol corrode untreated aluminum? I was cleaning my case with alcohol trying to remove the stain from double sided tape, but the part that i cleaned with alcohol became white |

I replaced all the stock LianLi fans in my case with CM Aluminum fans which in its 12cm variant is absolutely silent and pushes a good ammount of air. See sig for pictures.
