V1000 and V1200 is almost similar actually. Externally is exactly the same. Both have no doors.
But the V1200 is longer than the V1000. Gives you more space for your OMFGBBQSAUCE 8800 card!
ANyway, here's a short takeaway on my less than 24 hours v1200..
The BrilliantIts so damn sexy, pictures dont really do them justice IMO. You should see it in 'person'
The details - the unscrew and pull mechanism to open you side panel is really nice.
Overall built quality is simply marvellous ~ simply the best i've laid my eyes on
The MediocreCooling using the stock fan is mediocre at best. The temperature for my 8800GTS actually increased by around 2c. Processor temperature reduced marginally by 1c, if not at all (to small to be certain of) ~ will try to improve on my cables though i doubt it will bring upon that much of a change (1 - 2c at most perhaps?)
Cable management can be a bit tricky expecially for those using large heatsinks like mine, the BTVX. I had to unmount the mobo again, fit the 4-pin power, and screw the mobo back into place ~ this is due to the location of my processor at the bottom, very near to the bottom (PSU) divider. Note - it will be impossible for me to remount my heatsink without taking out my mobo, there's simply no space for my finger what so ever to do the push-pin thinggie (which sux btw)
Having extra long sata cables can also help to hide those dangling sata cables. I guess this is common for upside down setups (ie PSU at the bottom)
The UglyUsing the stock case fan and my BTVX (using stock fan @ 1300rpm) is definitely noisier compared to my previous setup. Call me picky, but it is actually a bit on the noisy side IMHO. What makes it worst is my computer is beside my bed

(note - this is my subjective observation, some might agree, while others might not)
Overall, i'm happy to look at it, but not to thrilled when i hear it.

Next step, how do I improve the shortcomings?
For the temps - i'm planning to reverse the fans i.e the one beside the proc to be exhaust, and the one on top the VGA to be intake. PLUS i'm planning to mount another silent (coolermaster maybe?) fan at the side of my motherboard - between my mobo and my floppy/optical drives and flow it towards my processor. Air will flow rite through my proc and goes out from the exhaust. Wonder if it will work?
Any suggestions guys?

Curious.. what's your previous setup?
The whole noise issue is quite impossible to solve wan ler due to the holes.
As for the sound.. dont really know what I can do without sacrifising much of the cooling. Even if the fans don't spin.. there'll be those HDD hums and anoying electronic noises.
Anyhow, regarding the cooling.. you can always get one of these
And do like what macdanife did.
Duct the intake all the way down to the edge of the mobo towards the VGA.. set both stock fans to exhaust.
