My case is extremely filthy now. 4 yrs using it without ever cleaning it once. Can I just spray it with water or is there any parts that might get rusty?

Strip teh whole rig out. Send the case to the car wash for a pressure jet wash n bubble bath. laugh.gif

no la, i was meant to remove the cover plate, at first it's unremovable or need tools to do it, but when i realized, that i can just press a little hard, and it'll snap like that... thumbup.gif, OP1000? nah... it's like, for thousand years i won't be using that PSU, too much for me i guess, this ST56ZF still rock solid for me...

Yah u could remove everything includes the power and reset switch and etc from the case ...

than bring to ur bath room and wash it with soap water for twice and wipe it with nice piece of cotton cloth to remove the dirt, finger print, oil and dust that trapped..

It would shine again ,, trust me I have try it on several aluminum case ....

QUOTE(sniper69 @ Jun 23 2007, 07:52 AM)
la... go ahead, make it dry before you re-assemble your rig icon_idea.gif, on top of that... Aluminium doesn't get rusty tongue.gif...
*
It don't get rusty it's just dust, dirt, finger print, oil and etc that become a layer on top of the surface making the shine covered,,,

that's why I prefer black version of case now days ,, it's not visible at all ...

QUOTE(blessedvillain @ Jun 23 2007, 08:13 AM)
certain part of my 2months old lian li is no more shinny also...i feel sad...

i'm intended to use dual PSU (i got capalang 450W), but first, i have to mod it, maybe remove some un-necessary cable (eg:- floppy?)

ATM, the frontal (stock Lian Li fan) suck and the air flow through 120mm Panaflo fan before it goes through PSU... i guess, this should be work on lowering the HDD area temp, about the mobo area temp... i'm thinking in getting HDD cage icon_idea.gif or any idea? cheaper yet effective way to improve air flow in A10S...

Okay notice the following image. There is 6 red circles. You will notice that there is something in those circles which functions by pushing the side panels outwards thus reducing vibration. Where can i get them? If you are a owner of PC-007 you will know it doesn't come with the casing or is it only mine doesn't come with it?

user posted image

The image is not mine nor a LL PC-007. Its a LL A07 but the holes are the same.

more than enough smile.gif
single 120mm intake fan solely for the PSUs (if u opt to put the hdd on the top section)

compared to traditional ATX Style:
  1. 120mm Intake Fan --> HDD --> VGA --> Proc --> PSU (not to mention the cool air ain't that cool anymore laugh.gif )
  2. 120mm Intake Fan --> HDD --> Proc --> PSU (must be a clever air to work up to the pc case to avoid the vga which is the most hottest hardware these days tongue.gif )

nod.gif, as you may know, i'm on A10, so the airflow should be like this...

120mm Lian Li frontal fan --> HDD --> 120mm intake from hot air from HDD --> PSU (both PSU suck all hot air from HDD area via 120mm intake in the middle) --> out...

the way i see it, it doesn't bother the upper level of air flow, but this makes the GC zone completely a deadzone, because none of the fan blowing in or out except from top hole --> CPU fan --> exhaust at the behind of the case

sorry for no pix, no camera at the moment doh.gif...
