Hello there!
Wanted to ask you guys and girls here. What is the current demand of CCNA holders in the industry ? Are they in demand or is it no longer in demand?
And also, what about the salaries of CCNA holders? How much do they make?

Its not about what you got these days. CCNA or no, its only a preference...every IT Technical job requires a test. Even if you got the cert but know crap, u can kiss the job good bye.
Salaries of CCNA holder? LOL!!! probably 1.8-2k...for fresh grads.
I got friends without certification but working for BT Singapore without much issues. As long u know your stuff, it wouldnt be a problem.

Lol...
From what I heard, CCNA grads working in the networking industry earn quite a bit for their knowledge of the systems.
Ofcourse, when I mean CCNA grad, I mean a CCNA grad that knows his/her stuff la, not just paper.

Most company view that ccna is a add-on to your default cert. Exp and comm skill still the only thing that worth the weight when talking about high pay.

Experience lah
no point if you have CCNA and your previous working job is helpdesk or something related to that.
For you to get things, u need to experience hardware first hand. Get a job that pays crap but lets you experience all these cool hardware.
Fya, my pay is crap but im given full access to Juniper Netscreen fwalls, cisco 25xx/35xx/45xx/56xx hardwares.....next hop would be fruitful.

It's a painful experience to work thru the night and OT at times, but it will rewards you at the very next future i believe.
