Bought from the UK for an exorbitant price in 2005. Saved my money to get this dream pedal (couldn't find any used Maxon pedals around Malaysia back then) and it did live up to the hype!

Bass is more pronounced and that timbre of tone it produces make your guitar sound HUGE and cutting than your average tubescreamers. So if you're constantly fighting frequencies during practice or gigs, OD9 will put you centre stage!

Not even the noisiest cymbals can drown your guitar out.

That said, i've grown too familiar with the tone and letting go this secret weapon for cheap. So YOU can continue it's journey..

Cosmetically better than some 10 year old pedals i've seen.



Velcro-ed at the bottom.



Crackles a bit when stomped, barely audible, probably dusty button. Does not affect overdriven tone at all once engaged.



Put it in front of clean channel amp for fat rhythm, in front of dirty channel for screaming leads. Set moderate gain on the pedal or no gain at all, and patch it in your amp's effects loop. Will your life ever be the same again without it?
