Hi I was thinking of upgrading to 20mbps too since i just upgraded my post paid to MaxisOne but i recently found out Maxis is lowering the speed from 10mbps to 5mbps during night time. They are short changing me and i used it to play games at night.
The Maxis really sucks, they just cant be honest about it. Like our gov.

To be fair to them, I have never experienced throttling before. It's usually a little slower at night, and I think it's because its peak hours and the bandwidth is stretched thin.

The connection is pretty good for me over the last two years, it's just the customer service I have problems with.

I really don't understand why should we give them any excuses, we are paying for the service. Shouldn't be they make it better for us and not us make it better for them. If they increase the price one day, see they will even care about customer service.
More than 2 years ago i was using Unifi 10mbps and the usage was about the same, no one at home complaint about slow or lag b4, ever since i switch to Maxis i get complain from my kid cause he play Dota, even my wife complain and she only watch youtube.

Only difference was Unifi cost RM199 and Maxis cost RM148 and both are 10mbps. If you ask Maxis they will tell you there no difference cause its the same backbone as Unifi. Why is it in term of usage there so much difference, you tell me? If Maxis have told me this going to happen then i wont switch to Maxis and stayed with Unifi even if i have to pay RM50 more. Why can't Maxis be honest in providing the info up front, its not like they doing illegal business.
Just say during peak hours your bandwidth will be reduce to at least 50%, look at Time fiber, they tell customer during working hours they will be limited to their subscribe bandwidth but after that its full speed whichever faster.
I really understand that during peak the performance will be lower but not more than 50% and most of us uses the service at night when we at home.

Just my opinion
