QUOTE(sinoffire @ Jul 4 2015, 07:12 PM) LOL!!!! Hopefully it turns out to be true, sounds like hot air though QUOTE(G_KeN @ Jul 4 2015, 10:37 PM) kinda sad because his season was marred by injuries n not exactly because of his performance whatsoever. Yes and no la. He was injured a fair bit, but more worrying was when he did play he seemed to be very sluggish (as bad as Rooney on a bad day). He has never been a speed demon, but at his peak he had decent mobility/efficient movement and had that dangerous "aura". Last season could really see he was trying and struggling in a lot of games.QUOTE(Minecrafter @ Jul 4 2015, 10:39 PM) If RvP is confirmed, heading to Fenebaceh,we only have THREE strikers. Technically we also still have Henriquez, Copa America winner Captain Roo,Javier"Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world"Hernandez and young lad Wilson. Inb4 we sign Kane/Lacazette/Benteke and play 4-1-2-2-1. And center midfield easily overrun. QUOTE(limjenson @ Jul 5 2015, 04:37 AM) The whole squad should be forced to take mandatory yoga la. Rio also said once he started yoga his injury issues were less of a bother compared to before. |

Not very worried about the striker position, tbh. Wilson/Chicharito/possibly Henriquez (if he isn't sold) can be backup strikers, assuming RvP even really leaves.
Rooney will always be first pick, and given how LVG lines up the team... a single out and out striker will be enough, since the midfield will provide attacking support via AdM/Mata/Fellaini/Young/Herrera/Depay. Not even counting Januzaj. The key part is the back. GK, CB, RB, CM. No more kelong to Leicester type results because our team defensive foundation is taufoo. |

we sorely lacked the pace upfront. wingers like young have to dribble2 do some magic trick while waiting for the likes of fellaini n rooney to lari pecut into the opponent's penalty box lol.
i still remember our match against qpr away, with wilson n flacao at the front. they played pretty good to be honest, wilson providing pace, flacao with his excellent positioning but our mids n back were horrendous lol. not enuf support for our strikers. we controlled the possession in most of our matches last season 9/10 times, but our shots were very minimal. very efficient in terms of goals scored/shots ratio but yea.... lol.
