heh, so we actually did lodge an initial bid of 35mil pounds for sergio ramos

not sure what to think of this. no doubt he is a winner, a pacey defender but prone to make mistakes n silly aggression cost him lots of red cards n is nearing 30 yrs old.

Smailing, Jones have both signed new contract. I think J.Evans will be leaving soon.

So for now we have Rojo, Smailing, Jones, McNair and Blackett who play at CB. But none of them are commanding CB. We still need either Ramos, Hummels or Otamendi.

I am certainly see Smailing to develop into commanding CB in future but for now, he needs an experience mentor. It is unfortunate Ferdinand or Vidic leave too soon.
